The Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange have extended the deadline beyond which certain documents can only be filed electronically.
The exchanges will now continue to accept current paper versions of personal information forms and the related declarations until September 30, 2018. After that date, documents must be filed electronically with the relevant exchange.
In our experience, there are significant benefits to filing these documents electronically. Most importantly, electronically filed documents do not need to be notarized and are executed by the individual with an electronic signature (i.e. there is no need to submit an original of an executed copy to the relevant exchange).
You can access the TSXV electronic filing portal from here.
And the TSX electronic filing portal can be accessed here.
